Tis the Season

FINALLY!  Ms. Bree has decided that the time has come to be in season.  She's four months overdue - which according to many of our breeder friends and our vet clinic, isn't unusual this year.  So that's the good news.  The other news is that Sage is ALSO in season.  Sigh.  After much debate, Mark and I have decided to breed them both - which means, hopefully, two litters of spring time puppies within days of each other.  We're going to be busy around here!

We had lots of fun at training class today.  With puppies, the flu and all the other dog stuff I've had on, I haven't had a chance to get out field training in months.  We had Rowan and Leia puppies Willow and Scout join us today, so it was very fun, to see how much they've grown and how well they're progressing with their training.  It was great to catch up with everyone and see where the dogs are as well.  As you can see by the frost on the grass and my very fashionable attire, it was COLD!
