Willow WC

 

Congratulations to Rob McSpadden and Willow (Tidewaters Celtic Spirit WC), who got their WC at Mountain Valley's Thursday night trial.  Willow is a Rowan/Leia baby from our October litter.  Rob and Willow have been working hard at their field training and their hard work paid off.  Willow passed her WC with flying colours at 8 months old.  We're very proud of you!

Today we went to training class with the big dogs. We got to hear gun shots and smell birds. We met some big dogs and played with bumpers and got to retrieve some too. We met some black dogs that are a bit bigger than us. Now we're POOPED!

Fun with Wings

The puppies got to play on the deck with duck wings today.  It's very hard to take pictures of puppies with wings, because they're really FAST and because they do their best to run away with them.  They had a ton of fun.

Bella puppies

We did Bella's ultrasound last week and sure enough, she is pregnant!  We didn't see a whole bunch of puppies swimming around in there, but we only use ultrasound to confirm pregnancy, so once we get closer to her due date at the end of June, we'll check a different way to see what she's got.

We had lots of fun this week with the babies. The rain has finally disappeared, so we've been able to spend a bunch of time outside. I'm reminded of why it's much easier to have summer puppies!  We had some visitors, we've spent A LOT of time on the deck and we're learning to play with toys.  It's been a great week.

Outdoor adventures

This weekend's plan was to have babies go outside and enjoy the nice weather.  Mark's away at a test with a few of the dogs and I had bright ideas of all the fun things to do while we're home along.  Well, we woke up this morning to a whole bunch of rain.  So much for bright ideas.  Anyway, the rain eventually let up and we did manage to get outside and enjoy the fun.  These puppies had not a bit of shyness about going out and exploring all there is to explore on the deck.
